Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup and for deep frying- oil
- 1-2 cups maida flour
- Salt to taste
Method
- Mix the sugar, oil and 1 cup water in a vessel and boil it.
- When cooled, add salt to it.
- Then very slowly go on adding the maida flour to it and knead soft dough.
- Make big balls of it.
- Now flatten each of them with a rolling pin into round shape.
- With the help of a knife or a designed mould, make rhombus/ diamond shaped pieces.
