This is the best recipe I have figured for the pizza dough. Nothing is better than making fresh dough although one gets ready-made pizza dough in the market. My kids loved it.
Ingredients
- 8-9 oz all purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 oz/7.5 gm active dry yeast
- 150 ml warm water
- 1 tsp salt
Method:
1. Dissolve the dry yeast in the warm water.
2.Put dry yeast, all purpose flour, salt, olive oil and sugar in a food processor or dough maker. You can also knead by hand.
3.Keep adding 1 tbsp water or flour at a time if the dough is too dry or too wet.
4. Keep the dough in a well oiled bowl and cover it with cling wrap.
5. Wait till the dough rises doubly or for about an hour.
6. Preheat the oven to the highest settings.
7. Oil a 12 inch pizza pan.
8. Beat the risen dough to flatten it and then knead on a lightly floured surface for a couple of times.
9. Roll the dough into a round shape.
10. Top it with pizza sauce, cheese, toppings like mushrooms, capsicum, onions, olives, chesse or any topping of your choice.
11. Bake it for about 10-15 minutes.
12. Lastly, sprinkle some dry basil leaves, pepper and salt and your yummy pizza is ready.
