Green Chilli Pickle

 Ingredients

  • 200-250 gms Cut Chilli
  • 6 small lime
  • 1 tsp black mustard
  • 1 tsp hing
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 4-5  tsp salt
  • 4-5 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp methi seeds
  • 1/2 cup oil ( sun flower)

Method

  1.  Put salt in the green chillies
  2. Fry the methi seeds in 1 tbsp oil till dark but not burnt
  3. Mix the mehi seeds and yellow mustard in the green chilli
  4. Add juice of 6 limes and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil and season it with black mustard seeds.
  6. Once they start spluttering add turmeric powder. Switch off after 30 seconds.
  7. Add turmeric powder in not very hot oil so that it doesn't burn.
  8. Mix in the prepared Chili mixture and adjust the salt mustard and turmeric according to taste.
