Finally I found the recipe for the very fluffy, soft , crisp on edges and tasty pancakes I have been waiting for! They actually reminded me the first time I had them and wondered how on earth are these made :) ! And guess what, I got one more breakfast dish for my family!
Ingredients
3/4 milk
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
2 tbsp melted butter

Method
- Take 3/4 cup of milk and add 2 tbsp of vinegar. Keep aside for 5 minutes to become sour.
- Now in 1 cup of flour, add sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix it nicely.
- Next in the curdled milk, add 1 egg and the melted butter. Whisk it till mixed together.
- Now add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients to make the batter. Whisk it till all the lumps are gone. Try not to over mix the batter.
- Heat a skillet or a griddle and spray some oil or butter on it.
- Take a quarter cup of batter and pour it on the skillet. Cook till all the edges are brown and then turn over and cook till it is also browned.
- And so the delicious fluffy tall pancakes are ready. Serve it with whipped cream and maple syrup.
