Paneer Makhni

Ingredients

250 gms Paneer
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 large tomatoes
1/2 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 and 1/2 teacup milk
1/2 tsp to 1 tsp MTR garam masala
3/4tsp-1 tsp salt
1 tsp kasuri methi

Method

1.Grind the tomatoes, onion and ginger garlic paste together.
2.Heat butter in the pan and add the above ground paste.
3.Fry till the mixture thickens and oil separates.
4.Now add the cold milk quickly so that it does not curdle.If it does, then just blend it once in a blender.
5.Now add the red chilli powder, sugar, garam masala, salt and kasuri methi and simmer for 5 minutes.
6.Now add the deep fried panner cubes in the gravy. (Before frying, soak the paneer cubes in warm water with salt to get soft paneer).
7.Serve hot with Chapati or rice.
