Achari Gosht

Ingredients

500 gms medium cut chicken pieces
2 onions
2 tomatoes
1 tbsp ginger garlic chilly paste
1 tsp saunf
1 tsp kalonji seeds
1 inch cinnamon
1 black cardamon
1 bay leaf
1 tsp cumin seeds
4-5 pepper corns
3 clove (lavang)
salt to taste
2 green chillies
2 tbsp curd
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp haldi
1 tsp red chilly powder
2 tsp coriander-cumin powder

Method

1.Heat oil and season it with saunf, kalonji seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, pepper corns, clove and cumin seeds.
2.Add the slit green chillies and after 1 minute take out and keep aside.
3.Now add the onions and ginger-garlic paste and fry till light brown.
4.Now put in the tomatoes and fry till oil separates.
5.Next add the haldi, red chilly powder and coriander-cumin powder.
6.Add the chicken pieces and fry it it till slight brown.
7.Add the curd and around 1 cup or little more water.
8.Close the lid and cook till the chicken is tender.
9.Garnish it with coriander leaves.
