Vegetable Korma

This korma recipe has the khukhus flavour which makes it incrediblr!

Ingredients

3 tsp Poppy seeds (khuskhus)
16 small cloves of garlic
1 inch ginger
1 green chilli
1small potato
2 tbsp chopped carrot
3 oz cauliflower florets
3 tbsp green peas
2 tbsp chopped beans
1 small chopped onion
1 medium size tomato (chopped)
3/4 cup grated coconut
2 tbsp oil
2 inch cinnamon
2 cloves (laving)
1 green cardamon
1/2 tsp saunf
salt to taste

Method:

1.Soak the khuskhus in warm water fro abour half an hour to one hour.
2.Cut all the vegetables except onion and tomato in same cube size and boil them in water with 1 tsp salt.
3.Now make a paste of garlic, chilli, ginger and khuskhus.
4.Grind the coconut with 1/4 cup water and kkep aside.
5.Now heat oil and then put the cinnamon, clove, cardamon and suanf.
6.Next add the onions and tomato one by one frying each time properly till translucent (about 2 minutes).
7.Now put in the khuskhus paste and fry for 5 minutes.
8.Now add the boiled vegetables (microwave to retain the colour of the veggies) plus 1 cup water.
9.Add the coconut paste (approx 1/2 cup) and 1 tsp salt.
10. Boil on a low flame for about 1 to 2 boils.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
