Lemon rice

Ingredients

* 1 cup normal raw rice
* 1 lime juice
* salt to taste
* pinch of turmeric
* 2 tsp sesame(til) oil
* 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
* 3 tbsp urad daal(horsebeans)
* 3 tbsp chana daal(gram daal)
* 2 curry leaves
* 2 green chillies
* 1 tsp methi seeds(fenugreek)
* 1/4 cup ground nuts
* pinch of hing(asafoetida)
Method

* Cook the rice in 2 cups of water in a cooker.
* Spread it in a plate to cool,pour one lime juice and add salt.
* Take til oil in a pan and season it with mustard seeds, urad daal, chana daal, curry leaves, hing and chopped green chillies.
* Pour this seasoned oil in the rice and mix gently.
* Fry separately methi seeds and grind to a powder and sprinkle it over the rice.
* Garnish the rice with roasted and peeled groundnuts and coriander leaves.
* Serve hot.
